Bronzer???

OK, what exactly is a bronzer? I've heard so many different things! Is it like a fake tanner? Does it wash off? What are the benefits? Any you recommend? or Don't recommend?

there are 2 types of bronzers.... one is a tinted lotion that will make you "look" darker after application.... up until you take a shower and it washes off. It's like skin makeup. the other type of bronzer is a DHA bronzer which means that it contains a small amount of "sunless tanner" which helps to darken your tan and get you tanner faster. these bronzers actually oxidize on the skin to tan it (aside from what the bed is doing), they don't wash off, and the color lasts from 2-4 days...

Lotion preference is entirely personal.... some people love cosmetic bronzers. Others love DHA bronzers. Some people refuse to use any... try a few out and let us know what you like best.

If I'm going to use a bronzer, I'd rather use the DHA type that won't wash off. I feel this will give me more of a color boost...what's the point if it's going to wash off? I've never had a problem with using these, with looking fake, or orange, or coming off on my clothes, or staining my palms, either. They're different from regular self-tanners in that way.
