I added about 2 tablespoons of sugar and a dollop (technical, I know LOL) of olive oil and a squirt of my Biosilk hair and skin therapy. I used it after I had washed with my body wash yesterday, and it worked really well! i was afraid it might leave a really oily residue, but it didn't. I got out if the shower with nice, smooth skin! Very cool! I will have to experiment with more things next time.

This one is on one of my boards: the lady who invented is a great herbalist!
STRETCHMARK CREAM
1/2 tsp. borax
2 tsp. boiling water
4 T. petroleum jelly
4 T. olive oil
1 Vitamin E capsule (oil inside)
Dissolve borax in boiling water. Melt petroleum jelly and olive oil over low
heat until liquid. Add borax mixture. Stir to mix thoroughly. Remove from heat.
Stir in vitamin E oil . Beat as the mixture cools to emulsify. Store in the
refrigerator (recipe can be doubled or tripled, etc.)

for oily skin: toss basil in boiling water, let steep a little while(2 hours) use as a toner
Recipe for Biore Mask
Dissolve 1 Tbls. Knox unflavored gelatin in 1 1/2 Tbls. milk. Microwave for 10
secons. Apply to entire face (watch out for eyebrows if you want to keep them!)
and let dry for 30 minutes. This dries really tight so don't plan on talking on
the phone while you wait! Once it's dry, just peel it off. It works just like
Biore face strips and pulls all the blackheads and impurities out.
(this is also Yvonne's I will post MINE later, I have to dig em out)

I like putting egg white on my face every now and then, letting it dry and rinsing...and also I do steam baths for my face where I fill a large shallow pot (like a dutch oven) with water and bring it to a boil...then I toss in fresh mint leaves and lemon peel, make a tent with a towel over my head and let my skin steep in this steam.
I also sometimes mix honey, raw oatmeal and egg whites together for a scrub...
and my hubby's favorite is when I mix course sea salt with olive oil (or sweet almond oil) and rub it into his feet really good, then rinse and towel dry them.

Just remembered...Crystal Bernard (from Wings) said on a talk show one time that she used her moms secret for her beautiful skin (and Crystal Bernard does look like she has really pretty skin)
She said that she uses Ivory Soap everyday, lathers up in her hands and dumps a teaspoon or so of salt into it, then scrubs gently and rinses.
