Okay, do any of you use facial masques or facial treatments that are good for clearing up the skin? I still get breakouts (at 25!!) and I am looking for something that will help. Nothing real harsh as my skin is also sensitive.

I have seen the nature's cure before. I will have to try it out.
I haven't heard of the Blue Flame stuff. Where is it sold?

I've heard that Astara stuff is really good. I think you can get it at Sephora stores or sephora.com
The best thing for zit-prone skin is a good cleanser made for normal skin, even if you are oily. Since I went this route, my skin looks MUCH better (or maybe it is the tanning!). And I rarely use toners, because they seem to either dry the skin or leave a film/residue on. Hope this helps some. (BTW, my fave cleanser is Shiseido, creamy, comes in an ivory tube)

Thanks boo for the advice. I think those cleansers geared toward oily skin just end up irritating it, thus making it break out more. I wish I had a Sephora store here! (hubby would leave me LOL). I will check out the online store though. Thanks!

Cool Melty. Is that the stuff that is on the infomercials? I always wanted to try that stuff.

Well, Murad has the Acne Complex...they copied off of that other line, I forgot the name...
BUT...MURAD is a really well known company, and they make many products for skincare...

Yeah, I'd go with Murad over Proactiv. Personally, I prefer the retinol, glycolic acid and sulfur in Murad as opposed to the Bezoyl Peroxide in Proactiv. I think it's less drying and it's around the same price. Not to mention - I think toner is generally a waste and there's no toner in the Murad kit. I love skin care... my friends call me "product mean person"

I tried Proactiv several years ago and really hated it. It had no affect on my mild case of zits, the cleanser didn't remove makeup well, and I was completely disappointed in the line. Will not be buying this ever again.
