what do you use when you're lathering up in the shower? I use a spongy-puffy thing that I got from Bath and Body Works....
I try to be gentle on my skin b/c I don't want to exfoliate my skin too much during the course of the week.

Yep! Sponge-puffy here too! you just can't beat those things for making a great lather! I do use a washcloth for my face though. They make teeny tiny sponge-puffies for your face too (attached to a handle) that I have been thinking about getting.

I use the sponge-puffy thing for my body. For my face I use a washcloth though, it's more gentle.

I use a natural sponge for body, sometimes loofah if I REALLY feel like I need it, and I use a washcloth for my face.

I use a scrub brush for all at least once a week, and a loofa the rest of the time. I have extremely dry skin and it helps keep the flakiness at bay.

I use the shower puff thinggy too......When I buy a new one and the old one is on its way out... instead of throwing it out, I use them to scrub the bottom of the shower !

Scrub brush made especially for your body. It has a handle thing like a strap. Grrr, you ever watch westerns where the guy will be in the tub bathing and he is washing himself with a scrubbrush? Try it, it's awesome at exfoliating away the dead skin. old skin sluffs off daily and that gets rid of it, I used to use the thing daily and it's hard to limit it to once or twice a week. I like that fresh clean feeling skin.

I started using bath mitts which I like better than the puff - I exfoliate every other day and use a heavy moisturizer.

for daily washing, the poufy thing - with a generous dose of B&BW Coconut Lime Verbena Shower Creme and Body Butter afterwards. Once a week I use Philosophy's the Gingerbread Man exfoliator and slather on J&J Baby Oil Gel.

I use a loofah. It takes what needs to be taken (dead skin wise) and my skin holds up nicely for it.

Terry/Scrub Washcloth, it really helps slough off dead skin when not using a salt scrub.

I love mesh sponges, I buy them in mass quantities and switch them every 2 weeks. Now that I have my boyfriend tanning I was finally able to tear him away from his disease-ridden slimy bar of soap Of course he objected to my pink and purple sponges so I had to go get him some green and blue "masculine" poofs.

I love shower poufs...but I have a hook outside the shower that I hang it on to air-dry after my shower every morning because I was watching the Discovery Channel and they showed how disgusting mesh poufs, sponges, and washcloths get when left damp in the shower stall or bath all day. They used a light to show copious amounts of bacteria that a woman was spreading all over her skin with a mesh pouf that she used everyday in the shower...it was gross! They said leaving these items and razors, etc. in the shower can lead to fungal and/or bacterial infections. YIKES!
I use those one time cloths from Oil of Olay at bedtime on my face...my morning cleanser varies depending on my skin.

I've got a sponge at the moment, it does a good job as far as I'm concerned. That total Submersion Bodywash from California Tan has lasted quite long and still half way funnily enough.

I use a pure white all cotton washcloth....I have a big pile of them...so just grab a clean one daily....I like that these can be bleached lightly and no bacteria on them.....I have tried loofas in the past...they just seemed to harsh on the skin for daily use and I don't like that they stay wet all the time....

I keep it simple when in the shower. I grab a bar of soap (maybe two) and have at it.
And on a more serious note. When I do use a shower gel it's definitely a sponge .. and a nice, soft one at that.
But lately I have used a loofah .. maybe twice .. when using a scrub on my legs. But no way will I use a loofah regularly. Too hard .. too harsh. If I wanted to use sandpaper on my legs I would make a trip to Ace Hardware and buy some.
