I have been tanning for about 2 months now, and the majority of the time I use a bronzing lotion. I like the immediate color, but am wondering...I am still getting the same amount of "true" tanning as someone else that just uses non-bronzing lotions, right? I have heard ppl mention they do not want an artificial tan. So hypothetically speaking, if I stop using bronzing for a week or two, continue tanning as often as I do now with regular lotion, will I be much lighter then? Does this sound stupid?

In addition to getting color from the tanning process,a bronzer gives you a little artificial color.Like make up.How long it lasts would depend on it being a cosmetic or a DHA bronzer. Is that what you mean?

Not that I consider myself a pro-I'm just a lowly salon attendant/bed cleaner.LOL!

Hmmmm, guess it really depends on how dark the bronzer is and how good the bulbs are. Tough to answer this one.

What lotion are you using?

My lotion of choice is AG's Dark Fire, but I have used several others lately. I've been collecting them! And, incidentally, the bulbs are awesome! HOT!

Dark Fire is just tingle no bronzer, right?

hot bulbs do not necessarily equal good results....

Dark Fire is tingle and bronzer.
