one place I go, the employees are so nice & friendly & they have lots of perks to keep u coming back. Your 1st tan is always free, I was impressed by that. like they give u a free birthday tan, if you refer 2 ppl u get a free tan, if you buy a sample they take what u payed for the sample off of the reg. bottle price & they always have monthly specials on tanning packages.

I love the salon I'm tanning at now. Very professional and clean. The beds are very well maintained. And I get a free birthday tan. It's far more expensive than the other salons in town, but way worth it.

I like it when salon workers show you around a salon if you're a new tanner to their salon. They show all the beds, the differences, etc. I got a tour of my current salon a couple of years back and they even threw in a free tan. I've been going to that salon ever since And yes, the workers there are nice and some are receptive to tanning bed / lotion "shop talk" lol

I like the new salon I just signed with. It just opened so all the beds are new. Staff is very helpful. Gave a tour when I came in . They give 3 free tans to see if you like it. I signed up for the VIP package which gives me access to a basic bed, a standup and a bed with facial bulbs. I alos recvd a $5 a month discount because my sister signed up first and I was added to her account. I pay less than 25 dollars a month unlimited tanning, 10 to 20% discount on any lotions purchased and it is less than 10 miles from my house. Very Happy.

I really like the idea that the salon has about referrals.... 2 mean a free tan. I think that's pretty neat since i refer people to places where i am a happily satisfied customer. I also love salons that give special treatment to clients that are new to that particular salon.... i love the tours, and i love it when a salon's employees are educated on healthy tanning. That would have me going back to a salon for sure!

I've gone to the place I go now for close to three years, and it's great; very clean, somewhat elegant and subdued, really nice and friendly staff, and a full range of some KILLER beds and booths. Also a huge lotion selection and they special order for me too. Best of all the manager gave me a package that lets me tan year round in all the beds for one set price (it comes out of my account monthly. They have different package levels but I'm pretty sure that maybe me and one other person have a "special manager's" package!

Wow, bonnie.... that sounds like one awesome deal! If i could get a deal like that i'd feel like i was the luckiest person in the world. I love those salons that are really nice and elegant seeming, kind of like a ritzy spa for tanners. It sounds like your salon has it all-- a great package deal for you, wonderful staff, and a beautiful facility.... what more could a person want?

Well I actually use 2 salons. My usual salon Beach House, Is Great, 5 levels of tanning all new beds, the staff is very nice, and well trained in skin care and tanning. Great hours. Clean.
My second salon Ive only used their Hp matrix unit. They are also nice and knowleable.

One thing my old salon did for me was let my husband tan for 1/2 off the normal price since i had a package there and he didnt. He wanted to get some tanning in before we moved, and the owner cut us a deal to save us some money. I thought that was really sweet. Also, they needed a webpage put together for the salon, and i gathered all the info, etc, so she ended up giving me some free lotions for my hard work.... i was definatly a happy customer!

My ex-boyfriends salon he goes to up at school does something really cool. They give out however many little company cards you want to you. Each card is one free tan for a new client. You hand these cards out, and when the client brings the card in, your name is on the back, and you get a free tan for every card that comes in. I thought that was really cool.

That is a really neat idea.... it's a great way to bring in new clients for a salon, and to get recognized for it!! I bet those little cards coming back into the salon can really add up quick, especially in the summer time!

My salon also advertises with a coupon on the back of reciepts from local grocery stores, and the val pack coupons you get in the mail, only problem for me... I live like 20 minutes away, Im in a different area, so my reciepts and val pack have different coupons So i dont get those specials

There were a few local salons in washington that advertised in the coupon books that get sent out in the mail.... i think that's a great way to reach new clients. That's too bad that you dont get the right coupon books because of where you love. I feel like that's always how the cookie crumbles!

I went tanning last night and asked how many visitis I had left on my package, knowing that last night was the 11th of my 12 visit package and I had only one more visit left. Well, she looked on my sheet and told me this was #9 and I had 3 more visits left!! Well, someone obviously has not been marking down all my visits, but who am I to correct them? So, 3 more visits to go instead of 1...I'm a very happy tanner!

Wow! Hyperion, i bet that was a very pleasant surprise! I'd love it if that happened to me once and awhile. I'd be happy too if i found out i could tan a few more times than i originally thought. I always get so sad when a package is coming to it's end.....

I had planned to purchase a new package this weekend and have already budgeted for it, so I've been going every day this week to use up these "extra" visits...I am getting so dark!

i usually tan the this city's biggest salon(and my fav) and this girl that was in my chemistry class works at a smaller salon and told me to come in whenever she works and shell put me ina bed for free.. i was very excited

My new salon let me in to fill out paperwork 15 minutes before they were set to open..Off to a good start
