where do you keep it?

I have my lotions on a shelf... okay 2 shelves. I grab 1 in the morning before work and keep it in my purse all day until I tan. Then I bring it back home and it goes back on the shelf.

Remember, with the warmer weather coming, it's important not to leave your lotions in your car between sessions. Heat will break down the lotion and make it runny, nasty, and less-effective. Take good care of your lotion so it can take good care of your skin.

Really? Heat breaks it down?! Darn (hitting the head)... thanks for telling me!! The bathroom otherwise. Don't have too many lotions. I try one and use it up then get a different one... can afford too many at a time. I might sprinkle in a few samples here and there. Not to go off topic but how long does it take for everyone use up their lotion?

Always keep it in a cool place. Not only can it ruin the lotion, but the bottle. I left a bottle of UV 22 on my dashboard, the bottlye is about twice the size it used to be and it is totally ruined

I keep my lotion in a backpack that I carry back and forth from the salon to the house.

I never know what I might be "in the mood" for when I get to the salon. As for how long it takes me to use a bottle of lotion, I wouldn't know. I rotate every time I go to the salon.

I kept lotion in my car a couple of summers ago and the plastic cracked or something...it was all over the place! It usually takes 4-5 weeks of tanning every other day for me to go through an 8oz bottle.

heat thins lotions.... a liquid's viscosity (thickness) decreases as its temperature increases.

I have lotions in my bedroom closet & in a cabinet in my living room.LR is where I keep the ones I'm trying to use up.Lotions are supposed to have a shelf life of about a year,
give or take.Some hold up better than others.

My first tanning season(2001), I used Tropical Fusion. Loved the stuff! But I left it in my car in the Hot Southern Sun during May and June. I didn't know any better. Well the bottle was 2x its size before I knew it'

It sits on my bedroom dresser or on my computer desk.

my lotions are in one of my old purses it's a saks fifth avenue bag... i used to keep them in gift bags but they just kept splitting or ripping so now i have this one this one i will actually be able to keep without worrying about it ripping... but all my lotions come in the house with me and i just put them in my closet in the bag when we aren't tanning

umm..... the van or I forget it. My purses keep breaking so I end up back with the little purse which the lotion doesn't fit into. Guess I better find a bigger purse or get together a tanning bag.

these days my bag is too heavy to carry, so it's stuck in the closet, I just grab whatever I am using that day.

I've got tanning lotion bottles scattered all over the house. There's one in the livingroom, some on the bar in the kitchen, several in the bathroom, and who knows how many at my husband's office. I think our tanning bag is with him, too. It contains several samples as well a few bottles.

I left a bottle of Dark kickin' ale out in the car and the whole top is now bent and the cap now doesn't stay on, luckily the lotion was fine!

storing your lotion in a car is not good. u might think the lotion is ok but the heat can totally ruin it.

Mine are lined up in the bathroom....sometimes I put mine in the fridge for a bit...very cooling on hot days (and before you get in hot beds)

i have a special little tote bag that's just for all my lotions. i also keep my goggles, some deodorant, fresh wipes, a hairbrush and hair tie in there! this way if i feel like a different lotion - i have a few to choose from. granted, i don't have the selection that some of you do but there's a good 4 bottles and some sample packets that I carry with me!

I tanned outside yeasterday and it was 92 degrees. I kept my bottle covered up with a towel but when I went to reapply it sounded slushy. It didn't hurt anything but probably wouldn't take long to break down.

I have mine all organinzed under my bathroom sink on one side. It stays nice and cool under there, so no worries of heat messing them up.
When I get ready to tan, I sit on the floor, open the cubbard, and just look at them all, then remember why I really don't need to get anymore.. right now anyways

Most of my customers keep their lotions at my salon. Then we just give it to them when they come in. They never have to worry about forgetting it.

My lotions are strewn all over my house. It kinda depends on where my purse is left, cuz I end up leaving it there. Every day it's a race around the house to figure out which purse I'm carrying, switch my wallet and makeup bag into it and search out the lotion I want that day. Not very organized, but I'm too lazy to change it.

Mine stay in a very large box in a cabinet, although I still find a few strays now and then in various parts of the house. I'm going to start keeping my favorites in my Iamtan messenger bag when I get it!
