I have been tanning for a little over two months now, for four days a week, I havent went in about a week and a half now, and have already lost about 60% of my tan..what am I doing wrong??

Are you exfoliating your skin on a regular basis? I know that that and great moisturizing lotions have a lot to do with keeping and maintaining a healthy tan.......

well, this is the first year I have used a tanning bed, I usually just sun, so I went to the local Kmart and got some stuff there, the amplifier, and lotion, but It didnt work that well

Definitely look at the lotions that are sold at your salon. Ask the employees for recommendations. Good lotions do make a difference, IMO. Do you happen to know what brands they sell? Maybe we could help you out.

I bought the hawiian gold tanning spray with tingle 2. Only $8.00. It was crap. Stinks and is sticky. Didn't do a thing. I took it back!

Welcome to the board! I will say this you must go aleast one day a week to keep the base tan you have . if you don't your tan will go away fast then you will have start all over again to build yor base tan back up.

I have a question and probably a stupid one but I have to know. What is exfoliating??

Exfoliating means removing dead skin cells and revealing new skin. Thats what I use my sugar scrub for, once in a while. They leave your skin super smooth & refreshed!

i got my sugar scrub from bath and body works but it is made with mineral oil. iwant to say that someone posted a recipie for make your own scrubs so u might want to try a search for that

i am sure u could do it with the neutrogena body oil stuff get some sugar and use it like the bath and body works scrubs

I was actually thinking about that Anya! I also have a bottle of body wash that is almost gone and figured I could try it with that too.
