We all tan regularly... I am interested to see how everyone takes care of their lovely little faces.
What products do you use and when? Is your routine working for you? Are you thinking of trying something new?

Well njchica, you probably already know I am Christine'/Derm Renew convert. I use the Foaming Facial Cleanser every day and I also picked up a dermatological brand eye cream and face moisturizer from Christine'/Transformations until Eric's new products are available. I also use the Derm Renew Pineapple Exfoliant twice a week and the Derm Renew Finale Facial treatment (use this 2-3 times a week). I simply love these products. I used to have breakouts all the time (never had them as a teenager) but now my face is clear and I am sure that is in part due to ultraviolet bathing and the wonderful products!

I wash in the morning with the Pure Zone facial cleanser.... I moisturize with DS Saving Face after showering. I reapply the Saving Face as needed throughout the day. Before bed, I cleanse with Clean and Clear cream cleanser and moisturize with Neutrogena Visibly Firm night cream.
I am not especially happy with this lineup but I have yet to find some other products that I totally adore.....

i have the moisturizer and I don't really like it much.... i love the facial scrub and toner though

i didn't buy the toner... toner makes my face more oily... i do dig the facial scrub though i just can't use it all the time since my face doesn't break out, i use it if my face feels rough.

I usually wash my face with Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash Cream Cleanser, then slap on some Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion. At night I do the same, but I use Fruit of the Earth Vitamin E Cream, since it's a little heavier.
If I have a zit, I use this new stuff I got called Bye Bye Blemish. It looks like caladryl lotion so I only use it at night.
When tanning, I've learned to take my Ponds Cleansing Wipes with me and wash my face up after I tan to curb the breakouts I have had.

I too love Mary Kay, I think their formula #3 for oily skin is the best. (expensive but worth it) everything else for oily skin, just made me worse, but the MK controls oil w/o iritating. I very between the #2 & 3, and can’t live w/o the #2 purifying toner.

Im on a regimen prescribed my derm. here it goes.
In the morning:
wash with just water, apply clindamycin phosphate to cheeks nose and chin, and duac gel to forhead(since it tends to get oily and breakout)
During the afternoon:
Blot with oil absorbing wipes
Evening:
in the shower I shave with Aveeno shaving cream, then wash my cheeks chin and nose with Neut. Oil Free Acne Wash and wash my forhead with Glytone Glycolic Acid wash. Before I go to bed, I apply clindamycin to my cheeks, chin, and nose, and Azelex Acid to my forehead. I use Persa-Gel10 as spot treatment if i have a blemish.
WHEW! thats it! haha.. so far its been working AWESOME my face is really clear and I rarely ever breakout anymore.

I also have used Clindamycin on my chin, cheeks and nose now for several years. Due to a female hormone imbalance I was having breakouts and now I rarely have one at all being on this.

I wish I had the money to use Aveda products. They work so well but cost a little too much for my blood. I have to go for things on sale.

I wash my face with the Olay Daily Facials (Clarifying) and moisturize with the Olay Regenerist. I use the daily regenerating serum am and pm and use the lotion in the morning and the perfecting cream at nite. I used to use the Total Effects line until the Regenerist came out. I really like it alot.

How does that Olay Regenerist work out for ya??? I'd love to try it sometime but I don't really want to dish out the $17.00 for it at Walmart.................. .I wish Olay's website would offer samples of it!

I now cleanse in the morning/night with Purity by philosophy. Once a week I exfoliate using Purity and my Buff Puff gentle face sponge. I moisturize with DS Saving Face (or philosophy's Hope in a Jar/Clinique Moisture Surge Extra) morning and night. I use my Clean and Clear Blackhead Prevention toner when I remember to.... and of course I use my beloved BBW Everlasting Flower line-reducing serum under my eyes morning and night.
anyone else shuffle their skincare lineup?

In the am I wash with the sensitive foam cleanser by Aveda then on a cotton ball I use the exfoliate liquid, then spray with the toner, then I put on the tourmaline charged fluid, then add BBW Everlasting line reducing serum on parts of my face, then moisturize with tourmaline spf lotion.
Once a week I'll exfoliate with my Simplicity sugar scrub.
Sometimes I don't do anything with my face at night and sometimes I do -- depends on what I do during the day.
And I TRY and go in every 6 weeks or so for a facial. Just had a facial done on Friday and my face feels SO GOOD!

I cleanse with Purpose (in the pump bottle), alternating with Olay (depends on which one is within reach), moisturize with Lancome Resolution, BBW Serum under eyes.

I get microderabrasion every once in a while. On usual days I use St. Ives apricot scrub and Pond's replenishing moisture lotion. I don't really break out, so I try to stay away from things that will dry my skin out, like astrigents since I don't need them. I just like to make sure my face looks fresh and glows and this stuff makes it just like that!

I've been using the Neutrogena foaming facewash for years. And twice a week I exfoliate with St. Ives Extra Gentle Apricot scrub. In the am I use St. Ives Oil Free moisturizer and at night I've been using Avon Anew Clinical with the Anew Retroactive eye serum. I also use Aveda's Herbal Clay Masque every week or two.

Isn't it funny when you think about what we do to our face everyday? You just don't really think about it. I use an Oil of Olay face wash for dry skin and this new face lotion from Estee Lauder. I cantt use the scrubs they kill my face.

I've been using Neutrogena Deep Clean cream cleanser for awhile, my face has always been very prone to breakouts, but I think this has really helped me. I just recently started using Skin Milk facial moisturizer and so far I love it.

I use Cetaphil face wash a couple times a day. Then I use Kiss my Face under age moisturizer and fully loaded before or after makeup. And I use Kiss my Face eye cream around my eyes. Oh almost forgot Avons face and neck moisturizer on my neck.

I am just trying a new line called SkinClean. I am not sure about the results yet. I have yet to find something I am in love with. It seems that I always have at least one pimple and mine get really red on the outside, so there is no way of covering them up.
Truly I think I have tried every product out there, and even went on Accutane. Of course that help for a VERY SHORT while.
If anyone has any advice I am desperate. My face gets too dry as well. So I have breakouts, but then if I use a toner, my skin will start flaking. So far, tanning seems to help me, but I am at the end of my rope.
Any advice is GREATLY appreciated.
Thanks.

I love, love, LOVE the DermRenew Line. I especially love the Pineapple exfoliant. It uses fruit enzymes to remove dead skin. You smooth it on in the shower, leave it on for 3 or 4 minutes and rinse it off. No scrubbing necessary. I have sensitive skin so its wonderful to have found a line of products that are not as abrasive to my skin. I also use the Aveda Tourmaline Charged Moisturizer and eye cream.
