What is your favorite music? Like Mine is Pop:Linkin Park(That was an Example).

Hummm I like everything... from the blue oyster cult to rob zombie. Don't like a lot of rap (there are exceptions). I can pop a Cd in when I'm calm or another one when I am irritated.

well latley my fave music has been music from Queer As Folk (lots of house music that they play int he club scenes) but i am all about the 80s i am a hard rock chick from waaaaaaay back and i still ahve to have my hair bands but i pretty much can listen to everything (except rap) i mean my mp3 player has 1700 songs so obviously i like A LOT of music lol

I like just about all kinds of music. It depends on my mood. I don't like some of the rap stuff. And most country is depressing, but I do like the fun songs. I 'm an eighties child.

My tastes run the gamut. I'm a huge fan of Pink Floyd, from their early days in the mid / late 1960's to their last album, I also like the Who, my alltime favourite band. If it weren't for the Who, I would have never desired to pick up a guitar and try to play stuff!
I used to mix house / techno music back a few years ago, believe it or not. Aside from my love affair with hard rock, I like various forms of dance music and that includes disco!!. When I'm feeling down, I'll just play some Donna Summer, Shalamar, and a few others and I begin feeling better
I also like Jazz and some Blues and folk. Just about everything except nu-metal, goth, rap, and bubblegum rubbish like Briteny Speers. Yeech!!
I'm getting older so I'm finding that some of the music I really digged a few years back begins to grate me nerves.
Sunnybunny: I agree with you with the country music. I don't mind "storytelling" type songs but that "She's gone now and all I have now is my pickup truck and dog" rubbish turns me off in a flash.

I like rock, the popular stuff, classic rock, lame 80s songs, 70s bad disco.... I'm pretty much open to most things. I DO NOT like teenybopper crap like Britney Spears or NSYNC and I definitely don't like techno/trance garbage...

you'll usually find U2, Dave matthews, or Eminem in my CD player.

I've gone through a lot of music phases in my life so I have many loves from heavy metal to goth\industrial to some pop music. For the past few years though, I have become very involved with jamband and bluegrass music like Phish, Grateful Dead, String Cheese Incident, and Yonder Mountain String Band, to name a few.

Oh, and just for the record people, "pop" means "popular". Therefore, if Linkin Park or any band for that matter is being played as regular rotation on a top 40 radio station, that would make it "pop" music. I believe Linkin Park fits perfectly into that category regardless of what type of music they play.

i love newer country/soft rock/old rock/70's/80's/yanni/some latin/i really dont like rap(sorry to offend)..acid rock/but i like most anything else..yes classical too..not too fond of jazz
