I just got Nolita Moisturizing Shampoo and Conditioner from my salon. Smells like heaven and works great!
Tron....watch the Pantene! After a while the silk proteins build up and actually dries out your hair!

I used to be so picky about these, now I use Garnier Fructis. Cheap, smells good, and works well. More money for tanning!

Laurel, I've also been using Pantene's products for a long time. I use their "purity" shampoo which is clear and their various conditioners. Their 2 in 1 stuff isn't all that great. It's great for convenience but not so great for the hair. All of this other shampoo / conditioner, I don't know who sells it because I usually buy my haircare products at Wally world (wal-mart). They might carry it but my eyes usually home in on the Pantene products.

I forgot to add that I also like Biolage shampoo and conditioner.

Aveda products rock! Course it helps that I work at an Aveda concept spa/salon so I get it all discounted anyhow ...but Aveda products are great and there is a variety to use/try..something for everyone and then some!

I guess im just a really simple girl at heart.... i just love using Herbal Essences. I love either buying the shampoo that smells like peaches, or the one that smells like raspberries. I hate to say it, but i tend to be a penny pincher on stuff like shampoo and other household products. The only 2 products that i would spend more on would be soap since my skin is really sensitive and deodorant, since i want to make sure i dont end up smelling up the place.

I love Aveda products too. I use the color shampoos and conditioners and they keep my color really vibrant. I've tried a lot of the Aveda products and love most of them but the Shampure line. It just wasn't moisturizing enough for my dry hair.

I've almost bought Mane & Tale so many times - I usually switch off every few months. I'm going to try it cause my hair does grow really slow maybe it will help. I'm still trying to grow out all the layers I had to do this summer.

I have naturally curly hair and I have never had so must moisture kept in my hair before. I love it! So do my curls!

I love anything by redken espically the fat cat shampoo smells so good. I also like alterna cavier shampoo and conditioner a little more expensive but does wonders on chemically treated hair.

oh, and the scalp therapy is made by nixion. They also make a product called structure and strength which is a miricle product for chemically treated hair.

I use the cheap Suave Daily Clarifying Shampoo. It's under a dollar a bottle, and it does the best to remove all the gunk from my hair. My hair gets pretty oily on top by the end of the day, so it really works best for me. As for conditioner, I'm always trying something new. Currently, it's Hydravive by Loreal. Makes my hair very soft!

Alot of Paul Mitchell's shampoo and conditioner lines are good.
I'm using Hair Plus now, and I love it. It's advertised as a hair growth accelerator, and it kinda did make my hair grow, but I love how it keeps my hair healthy.
And a lady at a salon told me not to use Pantene Pro-V because the ingredient in it makes the hair break. It has vitamins in it, but its more harm than good after some uses. ...just thought I'd say.

Its by L'anza I believe. It is great and has helped my hair be soooo healthy as well as my daughters. She has really bad split ends from getting her hair straighened. So, after using this, it make the ends lay sooo much flatter I barely notice them anymore on her!

When I can afford it-Redken extreme (blue bottles) or wella lifetex-when I can't Pantene Pro-V all other drugstore stuff just dries my hair right out. I highlight extensively, and the deep conditioning bottles Pantene has for weekly treatments work nicely as a daily conditioner.
I've tried alot of stuff, and for long hair Pantene is the best cheap shampoo/conditioner I have found. The beauty people say that unlike mosturizer, which the benefits will accumulate with extended use that you're supposed to rotate shampoo every now and then. So I rotate between cheap and not so cheap.

I'm going to have to say Pantene. It's the only shampoo/conditioner that actually detangles my hair. My hair is really thick and long. I don't like to brush my hair when it's still wet but when using this shampoo/conditioner, I can actually brush through my hair with no problem. I also really like Biolage or however you spell it. And the Dove stuff doesn't do anything for my hair except make it smell really good

Brillant Brunette, by John Frieda..i used Pantene Pro-V.. @ 1st when i used it it worked great on my hair but then i hear that u should be changing your shampoo/conditioners and i was noticing that with Pantene Pro-V my hair wasnt as 'volumized' and it seemed flat and greasy even when i got done blow drying my hair yuck! ...but i would def. reccommmend Brillant Brunette ..it makes your hair very shiny, light and soft. and i have thick, long hair

kpak by Joico Rocks! Best one out there in my opinion. Now, if we're not going for salon prices (ie: expenses were high for a particular cheque, so i cant afford $60 bucks for a bottle of conditioner and shampoo that will only last me two weeks with my crazy amount of hair) and need to take a trip to the local drug store, then i'm all over Revlon's Outrageous shampoo. Smells great and makes my hair SOFT!

I've been using Pureology. It's a bit pricey but I'm not sure EXACTLY what I paid for it; I got it when I got my first highlights about a month or so ago. I'm running low, thinking about trying the Bumble & Bumble when I go back soon. It's pricey too, but I paid a lot for my highlights and I really want to protect them.

I really like the Biolage products. I used something differentjust a few times and my hairdresser said I had buildup, which I have NEVER had, so I just stick with Biolage.

I LOVE TIGI Catwalk shampoo and conditioner...it leaved my hair so soft and shiny. Second runner up would have to be Oatmeal & Honey by TiGi...it smells like cookies

I've been using John Frieda's Sheer Blonde Dream Cream for a while now and always wondered about the shampoos and conditioners. Thanks to you girls' great comments on it I bought some tonight along with some curling spray stuff.
Thanks guys!

I'm now using John Friedas Brilliant Brunettes shampoo & conditioner - Excellent Product, it's leaving my hair very shiny! I've bought it twice which is rare for me I usually switch after I run out to a different brand but I'm really liking this line.

I love the shampoo and conditioner too, it smells so good and my hair has never looked healthier. I also use the Shine Shock, it has little sparkles in it, and my hair is so shiny. I'll have to try the hair sray.
