do you like glitter/shimmer in lotions

Would you buy a lotion specifically because it was sparkly? Would you avoid one because it had shimmer? Or do you just take it as it comes and not really care one way or the other?

Ok... u just sparked a little idea in my head! *Sparkly Butter* (melted of course).... If Cal Tan came out with Melted butter, with a few sparkles in it (not to many), that would be the best summer beach lotion ever! Everyone wants to look good, shimmery and pretty at the beach...

If they invent this, I want some profit hehe!

no, I don't like glitter or shimmer in my lotion. But then again, I don't like anything with glitter or shimmer - clothes, makeup, whatever. It makes me feel like I'm 12 years old again but that's just me.

i generally don't buy make up with shimmer but lately most of the bronzing powders i buy have it in there (which annoys me) cusit makes me think my face is shiney all the time

I read somewhere that shimmer will accent wrinkles.Especially frost eye shadows.I never noticed much of a shimmer with Neurotic.I like them but don't use them much.I don't want to look too much like one of those old broads who are still trying to be young.At my age I have to think about things like that.

Colour by Supre has glitter but its very subtle.. I love it! Definitely worth a try. My bf doesn't though he keeps getting the tiny sparkles on his face LOL!

I like lotions that have a subtle shimmer to them. I think it helps to make your tan stand out more.

I like them but have found that when you get towards the bottom of the bottle, all the glitter settles making it very glittery. Just remember to shake up the bottle very well before each use.

I can do without them. I've used Amaretto and Beach Bum Rum, which had shimmer to it, but really, it's not the most important thing I look for in a lotion, or something that will make me want to use it.

well i personally love the glitter and the shimmer.i love to feel like barbie and the shimmer and glitter makes me feel and look very sexy. plus it realy does enhance your tan and defines the definitions of your mucsles. so iam so for it all. the t10 by swedish beauty has a great glitter in it and it is light red. but it is not like all over the place but looks really sexy on.

The only lotion I've used with Glitter or shimmer is the AG Golden Bronzing glaze, and I only used it once, only because I didn't see any color from it. I liked the Shimmer actually, it looked really pretty on my skin, and made me feel a little bit Sexier
But I could leave it too, but def not glitter, that'd get annoying...

I dont mind the whole shimmery look in the lotion. The only one I have tried that had it was beach bum rum. And it looked cool in the sun light as I headed home from tanning. I enjoyed the smell more even though it seems alot of people on here hated the smell haha. I would try more lotions with shimmer and glitter in it. Its cute

Never tried shimmer, I dunno, do they make much difference? Surely it only works best if it's used on darker skin. Never really thought about it.

I tried Fiji Blend Shimmering Dark Glow lotion and I like the shimmer it has. I wont buy a lotion just for the shimmer but if it has one in it then I wouldnt mind. It looks good in the summer and makes your tan stand out more.

I like the glitter, but not when I have to clean the rooms, It gets everywhere and is hard to clean up. I actually quit selling them. I'll use it during the summer outside.

I used EB's Margarita Madness.. Oh god, that stuff has SO MUCH GLITTER! It was an "okay" lotion but the Glitter drove me crazy! I had to wipe the glitter off before I went out of the room and there was still a lot of lotion left on me.. If I went out of the room without wiping it off... Ppl would of stared at me..it was a crazy amount.

i dont really like it because if im going out afterwards i wont want it all over my clothes that i change into, i have clothes than i tan in because of some nastey ato sometimes, i dont think i could handle the sparkles, though i do like shimmer, i wear it on my chest all the time...or i have shimmer eye shadow, but i dont like it EVERYWHERE
