Hey,
Just a quick question... after using a tingle lotion, should I apply moisturizer once I get home from tanning, or should I wait a few hours to let all of the tingling action finish? Thank you!

I always moisturize right after I use a tingle. I don't know if it's the correct thing to do, but tingles really dry me out.

I moisturize when I feel I need to. If that is right when I get home, then that is when I do it. Most of my lotions are moisturizing though, so I am able to wait a while.

I thought we were always supposed to wait a few hours before doing anything like applying moisturizer or showering....????? Having said that, though, when I first started tanning this year, I moisturized and/or showered just whenever, even if right after a tan.?????

Well, since I have worked at this salon I have heard a million different stories. We sell Cal Tan products here and there is a couple of "after tan" lotions available. Like Total Immersion and Radical Rain. I like Total Immersion better. It has the same properties as tanning lotions do so it will extend your tan. I use it as a daily moisturizer, but I have also used it after a tingle lotion (spiked butter) It definitly pulles the red out and the heat. Here is a ? has a tingle lotion ever reactivated while in the shower. It happened to me the other day.
