I noticed a reference to this bed in another thread. There is a cyberdome bed near me, but I have never tried it. Has anyone gotten good results from it? Please let me know why it worked for you! Thanks!

YES! The cyberdome is a 52 lamp, 160 watt HP bed, very wide, so it works kind of like a standup. I've used them before and they kick! Boobrandt, based on what you've said about your tan in other posts, I'd say you'd love it! It can be pricey, though!

I just tanned in a stand up bed yesterday for 12 minutes, 50 lamps that were 180 watts! The cyberdome I'm thinking about is 15 bucks. What to do, what to do?

I've never tanned in the cyberdome but it's a big honkin' bed, kind of like a standup booth turned on its side. I've seen pics of them.

I tanned in one once.It was very loud.I didn't get very good results but it's all about the lamps. It is impressive looking, though.

Cyberdome 2

Tanning to the 3rd power! This bed combines the radiant energy produced by 3 separate super high performance lamp types to achieve the perfect balance of the UV spectrum. This perfect balance of UV spectrum provides the potential for maximum melanin production while also allowing more melanin to migrate to the surface of the skin, thus providing the ideal environment for achieving a deep, dark, full body tan. 52 lamps (12-SHR 200w, 22-SMO 200w, 18-120w)

Dang it! Now I want to try it! Samsara, you just supplied me with very dangerous information. I have tanned at a salon that has one, and have looked at it several times. I do know that when the clients come out, the heat from that bed is pretty awesome. (hockey sticks hot). The salon is very small, guess they don't have enough a/c to keep it as cool as might be optimal, but what's a little sweating for an awesome tan! Sigh-more money slipping thru my fingers!

hi, i have used a cyberdome for a few years now and it was normally like 160 over a 100 but then they had the cyberdome 2 and it is a 170 over 120. so now all the cyberdomes where i go are the same 170/120 and i love them. as soon as my 3 months are up with the hp bed i will go back to the cyberdome for 1 month and then go back to th hp be. you will really like thecyb.
