Used a new salon and bed today

I was out of visits at the current tanning salon I go to. A friend of mine is going to a hair-tanning-massage salon that just got a brand new Sundash Competition 232 in with a facial tanner. I was very pleased....even though it wasn't a strictly tanning salon I was almost more impressed with it than my current. There was deodorant in the room, a radio, clean towel supply, dirty towel basket, hair spf mask of some sort if you wanted to use it and a place to put your dirty googles which is locked so noone can get them out. Most of all, I liked the fact that I can clean my own bed and I know that all the surfaces that I am touching are clean. I even wipe off the outside part that I touch to pull down the top part of the canopy. I'm sure alot of 'regular' ( people that don't visit this board ) people don't do that and don't even think about the germs that can be on the outside. I also wipe down the top acrylic which sometimes I wondered if they did that at the other salon. Also the room had its' own air conditioner. Anyways, I loved the bed and loved the fan that it had. Also the fact that I could see the timer if I tipped my head back while in the bed and didn't have to open the bed look over the edge as I usually do. There was a panel right in the bed that you could control the fan, facial tanner ect. I think I have found a new place. Even though I have been up to 10 minutes for the last month and a half in the other 10 min. beds I was using, they put me in the Sundash Competition 15 min. bed for only 10 just to be safe. They were very nice and my first visit was free and my package was 15/$30. I can't wait to see the results after going in this bed a few times

im considering using a new salon, i switched beds in my salon and she put me in for 14 mins in the one bed and i burned pretty bad... so i may try a new place as soon as i heal

Laurel, I had a good tanning day today too
I tried another salon on a whim, since I hate my current salon, and I will tell ya, I am happy!
First off, the employee there was so knowledgeable and nice. I was also looking for a certain lotion, but they didn't have it. Well, the girl offered me her Beach Bum Rum to use. I thought that was cool. I got a week of unlimited for $10, as a single session was $5, and a monthly unlimited is $35. It kind of stinks that this place recommends appointments, but it's 2 seconds from my house, actually I could walk there. They also had a large selection of good lotions, and the employee said that the owner will special order for you. He just doesn't have a lot on hand to sell, but if you want something, he gets it.
Just a nice little place, and I'm glad to be moving on from the last place

I used a ten minute bed, Sundash or something. I'm not good at getting technical with the bed names! LOL
The salon does have a CyberDome that I'd like to use once I get some cash. I used a bed similar to it in Toledo and really liked it.

Where I tan they clean the bed and the floors after each use if you want to you can reclean it yourself.I never thought about the floors til the salon owner said you don't know what someone might have on there feet. You could get something from the floor as well as the bed if it to is not clean well.

I havent gotten to tan at my new place yet but I know I will love it ...the place is so new..and nice & clean

15 for 30 is great! I have a discount card that gets me 6 tans for $10. IThe beds are a little hammered, but a clean place. I get great color, they keep the bulbs fresh.
