I used a salt scrub for the first time this morning and I loved it. My skin looks and feels so soft and is kind of shiny. I feel like my skin has a 'fresh start' now and I am going to go tan in a couple hours.

Yeah. Was it the Norvel sea salt scrub? Good stuff.

Actually I made my own. I used my favorite shower gel and about 3 or 4 tbsp. of salt. Did I do this right or are there other suggestions for doing making a salt or sugar scrub?

I bought some good smelling salt scrub at a Renaissance Festival here in Texas. It's vanilla velvet and it leaves my skin feeling so soft I don't have to moisturize on the days I use it. Of course it also contains oils so I don't use it on the days I tan.

I don't like the idea of "sugar" scrubs as the thought makes my skin feel greasy. Never tried one though. The salt scrub you made was ok but there are some real nice ones with real nice oils in them. Look for Body Invest dead sea salt scrub. You thought yours was good this is crazy good. The smell is fantastic and it makes your skin perfect. I usually hate the big name tanning supply companies but they are pretty good.
