Lamps

Just bought a used 24 lamp bed for home tanning!! The last owner did not change the lamps and did not know if they had been changed prior to her purchasing it so the lamps could be about 6 years old. Is there any way I would know if these are the original lamps just looking at them? What lamps should I change them to if I decide to change them out(100 W)?

On your bed there is a model number that tells you what bulbs are made for your bed. If those lamps have the same number. I would ASSUME that they haven't been changed. Most people with home bed when they change lamps go up to the higher output lamps. I bought a used bed from a lady and she had the lamps changed to the high output and they really are much hotter.If you are intersted in doing that. Call a tanning supply store in your area and ask what kind of bulbs you can upgrade to for your bed.You will need to know you bed name and model number.
