which lotion is the absolute worst? why?

I'd have to say that my vote is for Browning Syrup. Bad smell (burned coffee), it's sticky even after tanning, and it has the potential to cause major streaking.

i'd probably have to go with iced creme, it stinks too thin and the "bronzer" washes off

haha... im not gonna argue with you, everyone's aloud to have their own opinion... but Butter is actually my favorite lotion (and believe me I've tried many)..

The worse lotion I've ever used has to be

I would have to say Safire. The lotion wasn't so bad, but I was royally upset because I spent soooooooo much, and the results were average!

not yet, I'm kinda scared to try it now! I am actually trying to wear off bronzers right now, a little uneveness.

I'm not crazy about the smell of Spiked Butter either (bronzer smell), but I love the results

Greta, how so? Did you apply a bronzer incorrectly?

Browning Syrup is a dark lotion and it's very easy to see where it's been applied.

I think some of the worst smelling lotions are by Tan inc. Alot of them smell like hersheys chocolate syrup, makes me want to gag, but the after tan smell was the worst. My husband said I smelled like chocolate and burnt skin after using it.

The worst for me had to be Hoss Sauce Super Dark and Hoss Sauce Retro Babe. I also didn't like any of the Swedish Beauty bronzers. Too sticky!

Another lotion I didn't like was AG Scientific Velocity. It burned me (I swear....I've used other lotions, and this made me so red and burned!), and I just didn't like it. On the other hand, I pawned it off on my mother in law and she loves it. Guess one person's dislike can be someone else's love.

I didn't like the sample of Spiked Butter that I was given. I never thought I would get the stuff to spread over my whole body. It was a real pain in the but to get out of the package. Icky Icky!

I agree with you on this one. My old roommate gave me her bottle because she hated it. After 2 or 3 uses I did, too. It smelled funky, was really greasy, and didn't seem to help our tans at all.

The worst for me was stuff called Indian Summer?? I bought it like 3 years ago, so I can't really remember what it's called, but I may be correct. But its by MOST products.. I remember that because that's who Sho is by (or distrubeted by..whatever) and I was like "how could they make a crappy lotion like this?" LoL

WILD THING, this stuff sucks, it has a bad smell after tanning, their bronzer streaks and washes off so easy, I guess thats what i get for 24 bucks!

I haven't found anything I totally HATED yet, but I have to say, I'm a little bummed that I don't feel the cooling that you are supposed to get from SB Frosted Hemp.

I don't know of anybody that has felt the cooling from the Frosted Hemp. It smells pretty good tho - a little perfumy for me but it's okay. Where's is the dang cooling???

I have not tried a lotion that I really hate. I would have to say that smoke is something I will not purchase again. Itdoes not give me good results at all, but then again that is just me and I know everyone has different skin types. It just did not work for me.

Ok, ok, I've got one, but I'm embarrased to admit I bought it. Sexy U Shimmer from Sally Beauty Supply. It doesn't suck, per se, but it's definitely the worst of what I've used so far. Even the Hawaiian Tropic indoor tanning stuff was better than this. Overly sweet smell, not the most moisturizing (though not drying either).

Hoss Sauce Ultra Dark 2...it did nothing for me, and it was pink and smelled like bubblegum...yuuchhh. Another one I just tried was Spiked Butter. It didn't get hot at all on me, gave me no results, and I STUNK to high heaven afterwards.

I went on a Hoss Sauce kick a few years back when I was an obsessive (well still am) but less informed tanner. Great website and names, but the products aren't up to the mark!

A discout supermarked stuff called "Sun Dream" (in fact made in Germany) - but they make good Après Sun-Lotions, compared to the price.

The only one that really stands out and ended up in the garbage is BB cooling lotion - The smell could knock you off your feet
