oxygen bars

I've heard about these but have never tried one. Has anyone ever been to an oxygen bar? What does it do?

I'm not 100% but I think it's kind of like a spa and people go there and breath in pure air, get spa treatments involving air and water, and basically try to purify their bodies.

My niece sells flavored oxygen "shots" in bars in the Detroit area and basically you breath in pure oxygen which can give you kind of a rush. It seems like a fad to me, but to each their own.

I have seen on E! that they are bars/clubs and you are hooked up to an oxygen tank and you are basically breathing in oxygen (just like GratefulTan said)....the one I saw on TV I guess was pretty expensive but then again it was in Las Vegas. I am not sure if I would like that feeling ...especially how are you supposed to have a good time with these tubes coming out of your nose...lol!

We don't have any here (Baton Rouge) but maybe in New Orleans....I supposed inhaling oxygen is a lot better than inhaling other substances!

With my father in law hooked up on an oxygen tank 24/7 lately, I'm trying not to imagine sucking on a tank of Oxygen...

hi, i saw these in vegas while i was there last month and thought they were cool but i didnt do the. i also saw every one doing them in the bahamas last year on a cruise so maybe i will do it this year in august? tempting

Just got it up and running (don't like to rush things. Wanna know how to sell it before setting it on the doggs) If you are a 24/7 workaholic or an alcoholic or just in need of a pick me up I suggest you give it a try. The few that have used it so far are believers and these people are not slack jawed idiots either. I have a Total Oxygen set up (2 person to start) with a couple of recliners. When it starts to make some real $$$ then the massage chairs go in. Also plan on putting them in the tanning rooms. Very easy to expand. I'm glad I didn't waste my money on a spray tan booth. Rip off.
