I tried it but about a week into it I got sick so I had to stop...
For most people it works out really well...my boss lost 60 pounds on it, you really gotta know what you're doing though. Read his book before you do anything so that you get a good understanding of it and just becuase I got sick doesn't mean it's a bad diet, it just wasn't the diet for me! Good luck!

It has worked so far for a lot of people here, but in my mind it has some serious flaws over the long term. It certainly allows rapid weight loss, but it is not accompanied by a balanced approach to nutrition and overall fitness, at least not how most people use it. I hope others will add their opinions, because I have seen both sides of it and am still trying to make up my mind. But my instincts tell me it is not the healthiest alternative.

I work out but I started running and eating better. I lost 20 lbs and now have a 6 pack. Watch how many calories you eat instead of specific breakdowns of protien, carbs, fats ect. Consume less calories, burn more calories= results. Their is no miracle diet. Good luck.

if ya wanna lose long-term, i wouldnt advise Atkins. but for quick weight loss, it will do the job, although you will usually gain it all back after you go off of it, not to mention it isnt extremely healthy for you, but everyone has their opinion on this diet, but thats mine...

to lose weight and keep it off, running on a treadmill or biking on a stationary bike shows semi-quick results. if you watch what you eat to an extent, and don't eat after around 8 you will see results. this has kind of been what i have stuck to over my high school years for my prom diet...i hope it helps you in some way
