Anyone here do Tae bo? I'm trying to find a fast paced, intense workout to do at home before school and work, and I was thinking about ordering the 4 workout live DVD. I would love some imput before I start exercising my credit card!

I've heard great stuff about this from friends that have used it, but I've never tried it myself. It sounds like it is what you're looking for! Exercise that credit card and let us know how you like the workout!

It's kinda of hard to get the hang of but once you do it's great.

Do you ever get bored with it? My main problem is I get bored and stop doing stuff. I tried Pilates and it put me to sleep!

Abuterfli, like I said, I've never used TaeBo, but I'm like you in that I get bored with everything! I can totally relate! How much is the video set?

Boo- I found it on Ebay for 20.00 and Amazon.com for like 18.99. I'm such a bargain queen, I'm still searching for the best price. I HATE that I get bored. I really like to take long walks, but often I find I don't have time between work and school. I know this set has an 8-minute workout! Now that I think I could handle.

I know that Jorge Cruise has a series of 8-minute workouts as well.

For 20 bucks, even if you only use it for a couple of months, I think it's worth it!

I started doing Tae-Bo last summer, its great and you definitly won't get bored, it's very fast paced and it takes practice (at least for me) to coordinate all the moves. I also do Pilates but you're right is gets very boring but it does really work so I just alternate between the 2. I'm sure you'll love it, it's alot of Fun!

I do Tae Bo with the 8th grade PE class 3 days a week. I just love it!!! It does take some getting used to but Billy Banks or Blanks is so good at explaining the moves. Once you know the steps it is really fun. Go for it.

I love Tae Bo! However i do not suggest starting off at the 'expert' level like i did... I typically like to dive into the deep end, however, by doing this with the Tae Bo, midway through the workout, the first couple of times i ended up sitting on the couch, eating bonbons, smokin and watching the conclusion rather than performing! haha it's very high paced

Tae Bo is great!!! I just did it about 5 hours ago. I tend to stop working out and dieting because.. thats how I am but from now till June it is diet/tae bo and running. I lost 5 lbs in 2 wks with eating whatever I want and I have a really SLOW metabolism. It's almost like it's not there at all. Billy Blanks is great. I have the older version with Tae Bo Instructional,Beginner,Ad vanced, and 8 minute workout on 1 DVD. It's really fun.

I use to love it.. I did it almost everyday for a month.. and the advanced was way too easy by then... It probably didnt hurt that i was already running 5 to 10 miles a day and lifting weights 4 times a week.. I havent picked it up since.

I used to do Tae Bo HARDCORE a couple years ago. I should start up again. I like it a lot. It's fun, and it's pretty easy once you get the hang of it. Plus, you're learning to kick someone's *** if it ever comes to that.
