Diet pills

Do you have to be 18 to buy diet pills? I live in Iowa if there is laws by state but I am almost 18!! Haha but I cant wait Im fat but anywho does anyone know if there is a law?

I THINK you have to be 18 but not sure. Plus I think the laws change from state to state so you might wanna call up a drugstore or grocery store in your area to find out. I was and am still on Xenadrine EFX. AWESOME PILLS. I lost 55lbs and am at 130 now. I trying to ween myself off the pills since they get very additcting so I down to 1 every day instead of 4 a day. GOOD LUCK....

I think you have to be 18 in the majority of the states...someone correct me if I am wrong...be really careful with the diet pills....I don't think there is anything better than the old fashioned eating right and exercising

is xenadrine efx sold at most drug stores??? I've been using these diet pills called higher power, but contain ephedra..my dad got them before ephedra was banned. I lost 5lbs in one week.. im still using them and havent lost anymore weight so i want to try something else.

I'm pretty sure the xenadrine efx is sold in drug stores, but PLEASE stop taking the stuff with Ephedra! There must have been a good reason it was banned. Losing weight isn't good if your health is in danger!

Don't do diet pills! We've had many threads on them and they are potentially very dangerous and don't work long term. I know that's not a popular thing to hear, but I'm in the biz and it's just not the best way to lose weight in a healthy way.

Yes they sell Xenadrine at any drugstore or grocery store. Ya dont take anything with Ephedra it helps ya lose weight FAST but is really REALLY bad for you. Thats why they pulled it off the market.

a while back i tried the hydroxycut ehpedra free ones. they made me feel really weird and made my heart race and i was nautious. i highly do not recommend, even the ephedra free ones. though they don't have ephedra they contain the other ingredients that are similar to ephedra, like bitter orange and others. just be careful!

hydroxycut effected me the same way. I only took them for 2 weeks and threw the rest of the bottle out.

Everytime I see that commercial I have to remind myself that that's actually Anna Nicole. She looks SO much better, but I don't think anything that makes you lose weight that fast can be healthy.

yeah she does look pretty good.. alot better than she use to. exercise has always been the best for me. i get lazy at times and probably bored with what i am doing. which is what hurts me in the long run. but i just have to keep at it. i want sexy abs dangit!!:P

i bought xenadrine efx at wal mart, and i got id'd. this is the ephedra-free xenadrine, xenadrine rfx has ephedra in it. at first, they made me a little shaky, but it was just because they had caffeine in them. i took one bottle, and didnt notice any weight change, but i did have more energy for this. (i never have the time to workout, so its kind of pointless to take them without ANY exercise) i still have one almost-full bottle, because i just never really got into the habit of taking them twice a day.

Blondie, did you exercise while on this stuff or does it make you lose weight without much exercise? Just curious, I hate running but softball is starting up soon and it would be neat to maximize my workout. Anyone know if the xenadrine EFX is legal in Canada?

My Dad always used to say "Diet Pills are not erasers" You have to eat right and excercise any rapid weight loss is usually only short term, you have to change your lifestyle.

I did the diet pill thing. I took Xendadrine when it still had ephedra in it and lost 28 lbs. I tried Hydroxycut once.. made me feel weird (still had ephedra) and I didn't lose an ounce. Trim Spa was a total waste of money, I actually gained 5 lbs. Zantrex-3 made my heart race and I felt just awful.. then I broke out in hives.. another waste of money.

After all of that.. I decided to do it right! I limit my carb/fat intake. I don't stuff myself on anything starchy and I avoid alot of breads. I do not deny myself completely.. but I did cut way back to just a few servings per day and it does not take much to meet that requirement! I eat lots of fresh fruit and veggies. I never deny myself any fruit or veggie that I want. I only eat chicken and fish..no red meat. I avoid fried foods and prefer baked or grilled. Steamed, roasted or fresh veggies instead of boiled. It's really just about choices and common sense. I never deny myself something that I really truly want, but I have it in a small amount, with a large glass of water. The longer I eat healthy.. the less junk I crave.

I also exercise. I do tae-bo 5 days a week and I use my elliptical for 30 min a day to warm up. I lost every pound I wanted to and actually a little more. I went from a size 12 to a size 6 in about 3 months - a 30 lb weight loss. I feel great and have tons of energy.
And all of that without the help of pills

That's great! Now, who has taken the pills and lost weight and how did you do it? I find it amusing to be told on a tanning site that diet pills are harmful BTW. I'm just curious about them. The only diet pills I have ever seen are those caffeine ones in the grocery store and they don't work worth a darn.
