My salon is asking everyone if we would rather see a spray booth or an high pressure bed. What do you think?

I'd go for the high pressure. The jury still seems to be out on the spray booths. Check the threads on mystic tan and others.

Thanks for the response. I told the owner what I did and she said that it I am not asking the right people. (seeing that most of the us on here are tanners) She said that the spray booth is geared to reach the non tanners. The reason she was asking us on which one we would like to see in the salon is that she was hoping we would talk to people who may be interested in trying a spray booth. Personally I would like to see the hp. I went today and tried one out and all I have to say is wow! When I got home my husband could not believe how dark I was! I was really impressed! Thanks again!

And I throw in my vote for the High Pressure bed. Just tell 'em to get an Omega or Ultrabronz Supernova (or their newer model--don't recall the name)
Umm, tell the salon owner to get both

i really like both but for a real tan go for the high pressure instead of the spray

I don't like spray tans because I have a friend who is pale and cannot tan much at all (she freckles bad), and she tried the Mystic and it looked HORRIBLE on her. The people that were doing the spray tan and regular beds together looked great, but for the price per session, I think the HP beds give more results that last longer (and don't look AWFUL if you decide to quit doing it)

the girls at the salon igo to one of them is very pale naturally and when she uses the mystic it looks great (she hardly has a tan at all) and when she started working there she had no color at all and used the mystic as often as she could

I bet she gets a discount on the mystic though, which at my salon is $25 per session, and I don't think they have packages on it. Plus, at my salon, the results you get also depend on who shows you how to use it because everyone there tells the customers to do it differently (like what to wipe and what not), so if you salon does go with a spray, make sure everyone is trained on it properly. After 7 days, my friends started flaking off and looked like she had a skin disease, LOL

well if u watch the video b4 u do it (like you should be doing) it tells you what to do and since all the girls have tried it they tell the people to do it exactly like the video and they will have good results. as long as you moisturize and stuff you should be fine.. i didn't flake either
