Ganja step 1 by California Tan is another one of my Favs for the Spring 03'

I love the scent...
And I love the concept...
The Hemp Seed Oil stays purest, without mixing into the gel, because of the 'seeds' which break up through the pump...

I get some nice color from this one...

I find Ganja to be very drying... and those nasty little "seed" specks just don't disappear on me. There are other far better products to use, IMO. Sure the bottle looks neat but the results just aren't there...

I just ordered some Dark Ganja step 2 hoping for a break through! Anyone tried the step 2?

why are you using a step 1 Melty?? also I was reading about that situation a salon owner was having with that product. With a student taking the seeds to school and the student getting in trouble.

I am using a step one because I love switching between step 1's and 2's...
Christine has said that using a step 1 lotion once in a while was always a good thing...

I also found Step 1 Ganja to be a little drying. I want to try the Step 2.

I have sampled the Dark Ganja (step 2) several times and that is the one I've found to be drying with the seed specks that don't disappear. IMO, there are far better Step 2 products to use if you want to get darker.

I don't care for Ganja 1 or 2. Can't sell it off of my sample shelf either. To each his own.

I think that the packaging probably sold a ton of people the first time, but I would be interested to find out how many clients actually buy a second bottle after having experienced the product several times.

gels do not have the moisture that lotions do. Gels provide more magnification while lotions provide more moisturization. Some people alternate using gels and lotions, some layer a lotion over a gel, and other use the gel/lotion "swirl" products to get the benefits of both.

I don't like gels... my skin is usually pretty dry so I like to take care of it by using thick moisturizing lotions.

Surprisingly there were actually a lot of people who bought Ganja again after they ran out. I guess it worked well for their skin type.

I imagine that a lot of guys liked it..... I'm surprised to hear that there were female repeat purchasers though... I haven't heard many good things about Ganja. I know most salon owners brought it in last spring and then like tried to get rid of it immediately when it wouldn't sell.

I bought a lot of lotions last month, they chucked in a bottle of this free of charge. I must give it a try although Im rather turned off by the beads in it

yes they discontinued it! we have not had that at our salon for 3 years.

Well, as long as it doesnt smell bad, you're probably ok.....give it a test run on your legs or something.

It smells really nice, kinda tropical, guess I may be lucky then :D
