O.k. who here has tried this tape, and really worked with it like you are supposed to?

I have read that the workout is very intense, and very hard for beginners.

8 mins. gotta get me one. I understand you have to work 3 areas of your abs to get that pancake like tummy. You can't spotreduce fat toning exercises alone. You also need to do calorie-burning cardio. 30-45 min. sweat session 3 or 4 times a week,as a general rule, exercises done while standing upright engage the abs, especially if you keep your tummy taut while doing them,Performance Fitness, say the elliptical trainer, running and walking on a treadmill set at an upward incline are the best workouts for toning the midsection. Pass on the stationary bike, which doesn't have extra ab benefits. If you can get your hands on Jan. Cosmopolitan book, there are awesome ab workouts in there. The 3 types of ab muscles: Your rectus abdominus(the top layer of muscle)your obliques(the ones on the sides) and crucially, your transverse abdominus, the deeper layer of muscle that wraps around your midsection and conncts your navel to your spine. It's this last muscle that, when strengthened, holds your stomach in.

I work out at the gym a lot. I already do a lot of cardio about 3-4 times a week for at least an hour. I usually hit the treadmills, or the elliptical. I am just at a point now where I am ready to start on my abs again, and I hate doing it at the gym.

I do my own ab workouts, but the 8-minute looks pretty good. Like any other exercise tape, the key is to stay with it. Most people give up after about a week and then blame the program!

Work those abs. Abs are one of the most sexy parts of the human body.

Have you used it a lot before, Greta? I guess they have a whole line of tapes. Like 8 minute arms and buns and such.

o.k. I just bought the 8 minute abs and arms DVD off Ebay for 10.99 brandnew. It's the 2 workouts in one. So, I will just keep going to the gym at the butt crack of dawn for my hour long cardio, and just come home and work my abs and arm for 16 minutes.

Just wondering cause Kelly/babydoll goes to the NKC community center on a regular basis. She loves it & it's cheap. No contract, either. She's trying to talk me into going there instead of Curves but I don't want to work out in mixed company.Just not comfortable for me.

Yeah, I had considered NKC, but it's out of my way to drive. I want something close like Gold's is. Yeah, NKC is only 24.00 a month and you pay as you go, no contracts what so ever.
I am considering Curves after my contract is up in June. My mother-in-law goes there in Ohio and she loves it.

I think convenience is a big thing when it comes to gyms.I don't know about anyone else but I don't need any more excuses not to go.I didn't join at NKC cause it's out of my way, too.Kelly is sweating me to join it,though.(No pun intended)She just lives a few blocks from me & drives down there. But she has other friends who go,too.

Yes, when I was training really hard I alternated it with Fonda's lower body solution. I always felt it, even when in peak condition.
