does anyone's salon sell Ultimate lotions? have you used them? what did you think about them?

I've tried 2 of their products--SPY and Prophecy--and loved them both.

We just started carrying them.I'm excited because of what I've read about them here.I already posted on Spy in another thread.I can't wait to try some of the others but I've been too busy moving to tan.

njchica: I use Ultimate Theory; it's expensive, but its tingle is INSANE, maybe even more than Safire. I had to special order through my salon (I think it was around $80) I also bought some of their Biofusion drops which can be used to boost tingle even more!

I have some of the power shots, I haven't been brave enough to use them yet though. My mom loves them

The Biofusion gives it a nice kick; you kind of feel like a kid with a chemistry set when you drop a few into your lotion. If you get some, don't be tempted to pour it in because it will really hurt. It's nice to be able to "customize" your lotion, though

shucks, thanks honey! my b/f at the time was a semi-pro photographer, so I chose some of his nicer shots. My hair is now a lot shorter (and my **** are bigger since Jan.) and my tan is actually a lot darker!

Ok, I had to check out Bonnie's gallery. Wow, I am sooooo jealous. Bonnie, do you have any kids?? Your abs are awesome.

Nope, no kids yet! I do 200 crunches on the floor every morning before I run. Thanks for the compliments! I also see the board censored my last post above; I don't think I said anything offensive. I think I might have used a four letter word for breasts that begins with t, though! I didn't think the moderators were such prudes!

I don't think they are prudes, I just think a lot of kids read the board and they try to keep it clean.. Thanks for the info on the Ultimate line, I think I'm going to try this next. Should I start with the Theory if I have pretty dark tan? or is it too strong? I notice some of the websites have a caution statement.. must be some hot stuff!!

bonnie, I did it and yes that was why it was hidden. Believe me, I am the farthest thing from a "prude" but we like to keep the board suitable for almost everyone.

Thanks, njchica; no offense I hope! I'll be more careful in my choice of words!

cyndestan, you could try the Theory with discretion; I guess it depends on how you handle tingles. I tend to be pretty resistant to them, so kind of go for the highest power possible. If you're already pretty dark you'll likely be ok.

just a note: the level of your tan does equate to your tolerance of tingles. You can be super-super dark without ever having used a tingle.... it would not be smart for someone to start out with Safire, Goddess, SPY, etc. because those are really strong tingles. You should always build up to a strong tingle by increasing the intensity in steps until you feel comfortable at the higher sensation levels.

I used Code Red Lazer a couple days ago & was not impressed. It was very runny.I will say the tingle wasn't bad.More heat than itch which I like.It was kinda cool that you can see where you didn't get it rubbed in as well as you think in the uv light. But I hate runny lotion. Not all their lotion is runny, either.Has anyone else used Profile, their facial accelerator?I wasn't much impressed by it either. It's cheap but I don't care for any facial products for tanning except for Saving Face.

Is the bronzer in Spy DHA or cosmetic?I couldn't find DHA in the ingredients.Maybe I'm blind.I would think it was a DHA bronzer considering the cost.I'm pretty dark so I have a hard time telling if a bronzer is lasting or not.

I've used both the original and the biofusion power drops. In fact, I just emptied my bottle of original and I got it just a few days ago. They do add some tingle, but not as much as I thought they would. No complaints though, because I found the hottest beds in town, and I'm not into masochism. I don't find that the biofusion is significantly different than the originals. By the way, I am really wanting to try THEORY.
