I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions of what foods to eat while trying to lose weight. I have been trying to do the carb diet but it gets hard after that first week. Also, anyone know any good exercises to help lose your tummy and legs fast?

well aparrently lotsa protein is good, but I am a carb addict so that doesn't work for me lol! Drink LOTS OF WATER! that helps a lot, and green tea I find helps, there are even green tea diets. Eat a very minimal of junkfood, and potatoes and startchy things are bad too.
My fave tmmy exercise is the "bicycle one" lol. hope it helps a bit

you cant "spot lose" anything, it requires total body weight loss... so if you stick to your diet, your boobs will go first, and then your butt, thighs, and stomach... jmho... good luck

I simply made my own diet I dont go by any of those carb diets or any others. Low Fat or No fat foods and lots and lots of water is mine. If you simply cut out fatty foods and eat less junk and more veggies, fruits and water you should be good. And lots of exercise it key. Go to a gym if you can and you get the best variety of work out options.

I'm on Atkins. It works really well for me. I love steaks and all kinds of meat, so this is a perfect diet for me. I also love my veggies. I think it's the best diet!

i have to agree with dancetan. if you are trying to lose weight it is the dieting and cardio exercize that's going to get you down. i hate when i hear of people trying to "lose their tummy" by working with nautulis machines and things like that.

I think its pretty safe to say low carb and low fat food is the best. You don't have to go to the extreme with it like some people do, but little things count. Like 94% lean hamburger, whole wheat (not enriched wheat) bread instead of white bread, natural peanut butter instead of the normal kind. Stuff like that

Just a quick note: You cannot do a low-fat version of the Atkin's plan or low-calorie.

i may have to disagree with this [not a personal thing, i just don't technically agree]. i think doing sit ups will give you a firmer stomach, but it won't effect your arms. and after losing weight, i still haven't lost my boobs! they aren't going anywhere.

Its true that spot training doesn't work. It'll make your muscles bigger but won't make the fat go away just because you are working out that part of the body. As for the boobs, I don't know about that. Where you lose fat first is based on your genetic makeup

ohhh i understand. i thought what was meant was that sit ups wont give you a firmer tummy. and i don't really believe that.
