CarbWatchers™ Sugar-Free Gourmet Chocolate! This is real Belgian chocolate, reformulated to contain no sugar! Each serving contains 0-1.5 grams of net-impact carbohydrates and is simply delicious. CarbWatchers™ comes in six different flavors, all sure to make anyone's sweet tooth happy: Hazelnut Crisp, Pistachio Creme (dark chocolate), Praline Mocha, Vanilla Creme, Raspberries & Cream (white chocolate), and Oranges & Creme. (others are milk chocolate unless noted)
These are AWESOME!!!!! They taste so good, you would never know they were good for you. I found them at Walmart by the registers. You have got to try them if you are doing the low/no carb thing.

Look at the label, how many grams of fat do those have? I think it's like 12-15 grams, that's pretty high, it's about 120-140 cals from fat. They also contain maltitol, that's one of sugar alcohols, your body absorbs it slower that real sugar, that's why it's said not to make an impact on blood sugar. But all people are different, some of us still absorb maltitol and it does affect blood sugar (just slower that real sugar), in some of luckier people it just goes though the system (you can tell cause maltitol will make you wanna go to the bathroom )
I didn't want to be negative about the "guiltless sweets" but I made my research before when I was curious about those chocolates, so be cautios when buying those, there is nothing guiltless, unfortunately. When they claim "fat free" the foods are usually loaded with sugar, when they advertise "sugar free!" it usually means "loaded with fat and sugar alcohols".
Sorry to burst your bubble, just wanted to share the info!

Diva is only has 4 grams of fat. Total calories 50, fat calories 39. It does have maltitol in it and it does give the warning about excessive comsumption may have a laxative effect. I think 1 a day during that time of the month wouldn't be bad. ya know it would take the edge off. Thanks for the heads up though.

I really like low carb chocolate..but I make sure I use it only as a special treat, and only when I 'really' need it, like that time of the month. Cause yeah...it gives you the "s" , if you catch my drift. Not fun...

They are very good, but the sugar alcohols made to use them will get their revenge if you overindulge in them. You will have people running for cover if you eat too many.

I eat low carb sweet treats, but ONLY as occasional treats for sure. The sugar alcohols that are in these products can actually have an impact on some individuals blood sugar and can throw a low-carber right out of ketosis.

Better to stick with naturals sweets like a handful of strawberries or raspberries...or one of my faves from induction, sweetened ricotta cheese (splenda, almond extract, tastes like marscopone!)

I like some of the Choc Bars that Atkins makes. Also the Ross dark choc. bars are awesome. I just recently got some of the Russel Stover French Mint Choc.'s and they are fabulous. Carborite makes M&M style candies that also look good but I havent tried yet. So far...i'm lovin the low carb diet lifestyle..i've lost 10 lbs in about 2 weeks...

Yep, got this too. It's not as creamy as regular ice-cream..it's a little 'flaky' if that makes sense. But I always add some whipped cream anyway, and nuts, so no big whoop. I should try the bars. I've tried the Blue Bunny ones with splenda, those are pretty good too.

my fave low-carb ice cream is Atkins Endulge chocolate/peanut butter swirl. Talk about kick bootay!
But again, y'all...all these things in moderation. Sugar alcohols have made a lot of low-carbers wonder why they're not losing as much weight as they want. Months ago, I gave up all caffeine and went down to a minimal amount of sugar alcohols...the weight loss kicked right back up! Caffeine can slow your weight loss on Atkins, and so can Aspartame. It's all in the book, though!

i guess you could call me a "moderate carb counter" i never really needed to lose lots of weight. I guess i just like to have a plan and be in control of what i eat. I love dieting, i know people think i'm nuts.
