Has anyone used that herbal weight loss patch. I am well actually I am having my husband try the three day trial. It's suppose to help your cravings etc... No ephdra (no idea how to spell that) It is pretty cheap so I am assuming it probably won't have great results.

Get serious. You deserve to lose your hard earned money if you think a patch will make you lose weight

Well,a patch helped me quit smoking.I thought it was well worth my money.I've been smoke free for over 3 years now with vitually no weight gain, either.

A patch can put nicotene into your body and that will help you quit smoking, but a patch to lose weight? come on! Did you buy it after getting a spam e-mail? People never want to lose weight the hard way, which is the only way. Some weight loss supplements will help, but most don't, including cheap patches.

Maybe after ordering more patches you can also waste your money on the weight loss soap! hahahahaha

i dont know anything about this either but there seem to be alot of quick fixes that people are looking for and really the only thing that will work long term is to change your lifestyle and eat sensible and exercise..it will truly help you feel more energized..naturally..and generally healthy

Seems like I remember seeing something on tv about a study on the patch and results weren't so good. I think it's more of a mental thing for some ppl who use these things. If they think they'll work - they may. I dunno.

I was just curious. I just like a little energy boost till I can get back into the gym routine. TanPimp don't worry how I spend my money or what I spend it on.Gee I simply asked for advice or what has been heard of it. I saw it in a tanning salon catalog. Suppose to curve your appetite some.
Kissed I'd be interested to hear how this works. Just ignore tanpimp. As far as I can see he never has anything positive to contribute to the board.

Don't think there are any side effects from it so I say go for it! Some of us just aren't into the work-out 3-5 days a week thing, ya know?

I would like something for energy too. A patch sounds like a good idea. Maybe I'll get a nicotine patch to keep me calm

I don't see why it wouldn't work, if they can administer blood pressure medicine, birth control, nicotine etc......why wouldn't you be able to get the same results with a weight loss patch that you do in any of the over the counter weight loss pills.

There's a weight loss shot in testing now that was shown to drastically help rats lose weight literally overnight. I think it's based on some protein or hormone, I forget. They tested it on two genetically obese girls. One was about 200lbs and the other was a little under 200 lbs. They gave them the shots everyday and they also drastically lost the weight and were back down to a normal size for their age,and height in relatively no time at all. They thought they discovered a miracle but found it had no affect on certain people.
People are lazy and don't want to work out, I agree, but it's also the reason there are soo many shams out there. Wait and see if they get this product right, it'll have a huge effect on the weight loss industry.

See this is what I hate, you ask for for everyone's opinion, and when I tell you the truth (which is something you don't want to hear) you get mad. Yes you can administer nicotine and birth control through a patch. Nicotine gets absorbed through the skin, so naturally a patch would work.
Every weight loss supplement has to be ingested. I know quite a bit about nutrition and supplements, and I know that there is no legitimate weight loss supplement through a patch. Why would you want to wear one anyways? It'd be quicker to swallow some pills than put on a patch anyways. If your too lazy to work out and eat healthy you deserve to be fat. I'll tell you what, send me the money you spent on those patches and I'll write up a workout routine that will make you lose 10 times more weight.

some people just dont understand....i agree that not everyone is into watching what they eat and exercise..i understand its hard..hard to get motivated..hard to limit and resrict your calories...BUT as far as eating..you can have almost anything you want in moderation..you really dont have to deprive yourself of many things..there are so many sustitutes that it really helps..the small meals 5 times a day keeps your metabolism going and you never feel hungry..as far as exercise..walking is a great fat burner and if the weather or circumstances wont allow you to go outside..invest in a treadmill.you can walk while your fav. shows are on etc..you can do several exercises while sitting in your chair during the commercials of your shows..if you are over weight and you use these pills or patches and the weight DOES come off..you are going to be left with loose skin which is very unattractive..toning your muscles while losing weight will firm you up.because i guarantee when you lose your weight youre not going to want to be left with flab..whether these thing work for us or not you deprive yourself,,even if you arent hungry because of the way you feel while taking them. its not something you can do long term and the chances of putting the weight back on after they are stopped are really great..like i said we are not all in to diet and exercise but some sacrifices in lifestyle need to be made for the longterm results.its not fair for us to ridicule or put down those that are trying like mad to achieve results through things that the media presents to us.....

I am a firm believer in if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. If you are in need of an appetite suppressant, try drinking more water...and as far as energy, nothing gives me more energy than exercise!

Yah some of these gimmicks get pretty goofy. A couple of year ago I was in the gym locker room and there was some guy rubbing this spray all over his arms, he said it was a weight loss supplement. He might was well have thrown his money in the wind

Ok, I agree with TanPimp, I would've worded it differently, but he cuts to the chase.
Those things don't work, it's a waste of money. Other patches DO work, because the medicine goes into your skin and bloodstream. But there's no weight-loss medicine that would do that. I mean, there's things like appetite supression pills, and stuff to give you more energy, so you'll get out and do more, instead of sitting around and watching TV.
The bottom line is you have to take in fewer calories, and output more.
But, it's your money, and how you spend it is your business. And hey..maybe it'll have a placebo effect..he'll think he's not as hungry, so he'll eat less..etc..

Oh, this gal who was in my aerobics class became an herbalife fanatic. She lost a ton of weight in a really short time, but she looked like he!! ! She had this loose skin on the backs of her upper legs that wobbled when she'd work out. It was the freakiest thing I'd ever seen!! And then after taking that stuff for a few months, she stopped coming to class. She had a stroke at 31! Yikes. I don't know what's in the pills she was taking, but it can't be good for you if it causes heart problems. It was probably ephedra, and I'm sure she was o-d'ing on it.

Haha I bet she's not doing too many aerobics exercises after that stroke!

For about 3$ at Wal-mart you can get a weight loss Patch. It's called Duct Tape, any time you crave food just rip a piece off and place it over your mouth....

You guys are some dumb. Stay out of this topic if you have nothing to contribute. Duct tape is also good to place on an idiots mouth. They can gladly close or lock this post as some people insist on being rude and immature.

I'm not being rude, I'm just stating facts, weight loss patches don't work. And if they did work, they wouldn't be given away for free! I've sold supplements for about 3 years, so I'm pretty sure I know a little bit more about them than you!

I was being humorous, not dumb. if you want some candid truthful information about weight loss, then here you go..
You can't rely on pills, surgery, or fad diets to lose weight. They aren't healthy and do more harm than good. If more people would eat right and get off their lazy bums (myself included) the world would not have half the health issues we have today. And you can't blame anyone other than the individual, unless they have medical conditions BEYOND their control. And I don't mean fork to mouth disease either, i'm talking about legitimate disorders, like Hypothyroidism, or genetic obesity. I am far from dumb, I might say some idiotic thigs from time to time, but if you can't find humor in everything then you have issues.

Yeah, I know about them stupid hidden fees. Another website got me with that one. I cancelled on the 6th day, but for some reason they didn't seem to get ANY notification until after my 7 day trial period was up
When he replied to my origional cancellation, he said, "Since we didn't receive ANY notification to cancel within your 7 day trial period, your credit card will be billed $9.95 for a minimum of 3 months. After that time, your card will not be billed." This was in an e-mail, as a reply to my origional e-mail dated the 15th.
I e-mailed them back, and said, "Uh, I'm e-mailing you the order confirmation *they e-mailed me immediately after my order on the 9th* and I'm e-mailing you my cancellation e-mail *which shows the date mailed was on the 15th* If I'm adding correctly, that's only 6 days."
That made me so mad.

On those websites, you don't hear ANYTHING about them charging you again, until after they charge you. Then, all of a sudden, you find out that they are going to charge you, since you didn't cancel on time, and they tell you how to cancel.
I looked all OVER for hidden fees, and didn't find any until I got my package, 6 days after I ordered. I immediately e-mailed them my cancellation. I guess they figured I'd get my package on the 7th day, and it would be tooooo late. They aren't used to people getting notification that they are going to be billed, so they tried to trick me into thinking I didn't cancel on time.
I think I'm going to fight them for this one If I wanted to fork out $30 for diet pills, I'd got to RITE AID!!!
