do you like the standup tanning units?

do you agree that "Booths rule?"

would you tan at a salon that had only standup units?

I like to throw in a stand up here and there, I always seem to get a small area on my neck that the bed dosent tan, using the standup works great to help these weird un tan areaqs we sometimes get

I hate standups. I don't like them but in my dad's salon they seem to be pretty popular. But personally i would not use them.

I hate standups also..I go in the bed to relax, with standup I just can't.. My co-worker told me she prefers standup cuz she is figgedy, I guess for people who can't sit still, than yeah its cool, but for me, I'd rather relax..

I have never tried a standup, I wanted to but they recently got rid of the one we had for a spray on tan booth.

i like the stand ups on occasion since u get to dance around a bit when u are in there (i know i get bored that 10 mins seems to take forever) my arms get tired (hey i am short and i have to reach up high) my only serious issue the booths not tanning my feet

booths are better, the hygiene is better,no sweating, and if its a good stand up u should only need 6mins to a 10 min max

I never ever use booths. I hate standing and I always felt like I was falling forward when I was holding onto the little handle things.

Some booths actually do make me sweat...
they don't call it the 'POWERTOWER' for nothing...

I've used a booth a few times back in the day. Compared to the booths out today, the ones I used had fewer bulbs and not as high in power output. They were still UVA type. But one thing I did like about the booths is that it did a better job at getting my shoulders and sides tan vs a lay down bed. I was sweating like a pig in the bloody thing thanks to the salon having a crappy A/C system. Perhaps I got so dark because my skin was extra moist from the excessive sweating coupled with a liberal dose of accelerator
Such a pity it didn't get my feet very dark...

Im too scared to try a bed. so booths it is until i feel like it. my salon just got brand new bulbs a week ago and since im just developing a base tan it works for me.

I like certain booths. The only 2 I tan in are the Sundazzler and the 2m. But I only use them maybe once a week or two, just to even out. And they tend to boost my color. But, they don't tan feet very well. I really prefer to nap for 20 minutes the rest of the time.

that is my one issue with the booths.... i like my feet nice and tan and the booths at my salon the bulbs only go ankle high but i do get a boost.

I use a diva tower about twice a week; it's a nine-minute tan and you avoid dreaded tan lines!

I love stand up's I dance and do these little squat things trying to tighten the tush. Since I've been tanning regularly I have lost a couple of lbs and lost an inch or so so hey I love it! But I would like tanner lower legs and feet. Oh and my salon has the sundazzler too.

I'm not a big fan of stand ups. I like my 10 minutes of zone out time.

I have always liked dozing off in the beds, but the stand-ups get everything, and it's a much shorter time. I love them!

I was a Big Booth Tanner for a whole season 2 years ago, but then I tried the Booth this year and it made me sick so now, I just take my Power Nap in Bed, and I LOOOVVVEEE IT!! Though, if my salon gets in the booth she's talking about, I'll do some Tan Standing A couple times, I guess! I know they give great color, but I'm just lazy that way ZZZZZ..........ZZZZZZZZZZ Z.........zzzzzzzzzzzzz

I use the stand-ups every so often to even out my sides. The stand-ups at my salon have foot stools so that you can still tan your feet. I do prefer the beds to the stand-ups, they are more relaxing.

i like stand ups because im fidgety. theres 2 kinds of standups at my salon. one of them gives me great color but its annoying to use. Its like...its own booth. kinda reminds me of an outhouse. theres an itty bitty spot to change, then the tanning booth is right there...so its like its own room. from the outside all closed up it looks like one giant stand up booth.

I prefer the beds because it is more relaxing. However, the standups are very quick and give a more even tan. I use both.

i do standup 9 out of 10 times and an orbit on the other. it depends on what you consider perks of tanning, if it's to relax then a standup is out of the question. i don't since i tan before my shift and taking a nap would not be good. personally, i don't care so much for relaxing but more for getting as much color as i can in as little time as possible. also our standup handles are on the top so your arms don't get tired... they don't get too outrageously hot for me either but my shorter friend can't do them for fear that she almost passed out once. i guess it just comes down to physical individuality and preference.

I like stand ups a lot, I always go in the one at my salon. There is only one, I think that one more would be good, but I alternate it with others so it is not that important as long as there is one. I would not want all stand ups htoug, I like relaxing and laying down sometimes.
